a year after
To mark my one year hiatus from this blog I decided to make a post. LOL. I can’t believe it has been a year since my last post, where did time go? I won’t bore you with the reasons why I haven’t blogged but to give you an idea, I was occupied with the running/managing of Décor Haven, a shop in Dipolog that my MIL opened May of last year. See the logo below, I made that! (digi scraps do come in handy)
nothing beats the feeling of seeing the end result…
We also moved to a new apartment that same month. So I had to pack and unpack our 7 years worth of stuff. Not a task for the faint hearted I tell yah.
June was a FUN and busy month with my sister and her family and also my brother coming home from the US and SG respectively. So much to do, so little time. But it was FUN, FUN, FUN. I was sad when they went home but that is the reality for us.
wacky family (including the one behind the camera)
July came and went…
August, my little guy turned 2! We had a simple “salo-salo” to celebrate his second year.
Ondoy happened late September! It took us a few months to recover from the catastrophe.
outside our apartment… and yes that’s the roof of our van
our floating ref and washing machine
Oh well, December is always a busy month for everybody, so there! Plus no househelp for the whole month kidda gets your mind off blogging and scrapping.
sorting the goods from our relatives in the US for the Ondoy victims
January, the whole family went to Dipolog to attend a relative’s wedding. Zach was the ring bearer, his first!
I’ve been scrapping on and off since late last year but never got the chance to share. Will do in the next few weeks. (hopefully)
So there you go my whole year in a nutshell. This is not baaaad… one post to sum up my whole year. LOL. Okay I’m kidding but really it’s not a bad idea!
I did say I won’t bore you with my blah…blah…blah, so bye for now.

Finally! Welcome back sis!
Love the photos and it’s good to see what you’ve been up to. The store facade is SO Mommy.
She does love green.
Love the photos and I do miss spending time with y’all. The photos makes me want to take the half way around the world trip… Ah, if only the budget permits!
Looking forward to your next post!
